The first ever crossword puzzle was published in a newspaper on this day in 1913, the eve of the first World War. It was created by a man named Arthur Wynne. Within ten years most newspapers published one.
I may be the only one celebrating because not everyone loves crosswords like I do, but I’m inviting you to join me!
