2023 Goodreads Choice Awards Reading Challenge
2023 Goodreads Choice Awards Reading Challenge
By: Brittany Shields
The 2023 Goodreads Choice Awards have been announced!
I’ve listed the winner of each category in bold and listed some of the other nominees for each category as well. A full list of the nominees and descriptions can be found at the link above.
My goal is to read at least one book from each category as these are supposedly the best of the best! We shall see if they’ve earned their spots.
The ones I plan to read will have an * before the title. All books I’ve reviewed will be clickable links to my reviews.
There are a few changes to the categories this year as compared to other years. There is no poetry category or middle-grade/children’s book categories. I’m actually okay with this because I didn’t really get to those categories anyway.
They also got rid of the graphic novel category which is a bit of a bummer. That was always an interesting category and usually didn’t take long to read!
Last, they added a Romantasy category because apparently that’s popular now. I’m not entirely sure how they separate regular fantasy from this one…
